Open The Training Door.
Forming is the first step of joining the group; in every team will have a team Leader or leg builder.
Your training session starts right then, this will build an extra special team welcome! Get your group into the norming stage and feeling and working like a member. So way they join and order on the autoship if they are educated by you and trained. The new member will worry about fitting in and be scared to share their oils. They might be scared to use the oil on them self.
Does your person know what a signature line is? How to credential them self; does your new person know what to do to share about the essential oils of Young Living. Did they open the package? Where are their oils? How do they feel about using the oils? Have you addressed concerns? Did you ask them when they are not ordering why? What is wrong? Why is it that you join not to order? How can I make you experience 100%! This is your first experience with essential oils of Young Living? How can I help you have a good experience!
Pay attention to your new trainee. They need your support and education to know what the next steps are.
Storming stage:
Training the new member is working with them in the norming stage. I’ve notice men vs. women train differently. Men who think they know what they are doing and don’t vs women who gathers information and then runs with the program. When you come into that next stage it is called storming stage. What storming because the member does not want to train at that point. They seem to think at that moment I know all I can know and not have to listen.
Even if the members when they are storming they are not a team player yet! The member might not have understood that the wheel is not broken and you do the same thing every time.
When storming hits many people have to learn old ways and try to fit the new way into the old ways. They storm along working the business in anger. Those people might grow a tiny bit but the ranking is what seems to prevent them from growing in growth. Why is this because spiritual truth does not move forward with anger and fear? One must change behavior when in anger it makes the body grow fatigued and wears out the people around you.
Master-minding: Did you know that ranking is a spiritual move up toward God in the way you think about money? Pauperism is trying to remain simple and poor yet find someone to purchase what you have to sell. People see through that door into the next door they do not want to grow and will sit in your back office not ordering. The truth here is when someone does not order it is not because they do not want to order or that they are poor. I do not like to use the word poor because it means to be poor in spirit is to not have self-worth or self-esteem. People will find ways to order when on a budget. They will work hard to generate a way to order what they need at the store, generate what they really want, and what they desire.
Becoming a member
Norming is the member wants to run building the business. These members ask questions and work the business and grow.
Please check your interaction with your members. Asks important questions like: Why would someone join become a member and not participate. What kind of strategies does a business partner need? The tools to train- your new person becomes upset on the person they sign in under because they do not know what to do. Have you open new ideas to get them started. OR are you controlling how they are ordering and frustrating them? I think norming is when the member hits Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The reason is they then experience of the network and the manifestation of critical mass money the larger commissions. The member will then make the decisions in their network for the business, not a personal reason for thinking someone is not a leader. This is a perfect example of storming the Upline judges the downline and neither grow. Another great example is not helping to supply training members will either go to the upline or stop ordering.
Performing is a Diamond Leader: Leadership and activities at all different levels. Critical mass money is now happening for that leader. Critical mass money is their commission check is coming in with the same amount of the money. And you can see growth into the Adjourning stage. Performing is setting aside the difference and learning what Young Living is asking you to do in getting larger amounts of commission. It is fun to grow and develop a cash flow stream.
Adjourning stage is a Royal Crown Diamond who has to develop the purpose, mission, and cause and has taken the leadership and found critical mass. Teams do not want to move to this stage because the relationships are with colleagues now. This adjourning stage is walking the walk and talking the talk. One thing I feel is a member might develop this stage early because of how their business has grown and what the Lord has asked of them to do.
Building Tools to use are:
Identify the stage of the team leader and help them through it.
The leader will be taught to place members under them and then under the next line and adding three by three. .
Schedule regular coaching reviews are important to each team. Discussing problem solving, business building, retreats and leadership growth and the approach of how you are teaching. Business building is important. Your team should be growing by then and you should have 4 business builders. Loving support is building.
The Building Network is duplication and making sure you members get trained 6 classes of 101: credential, cards and how to sign members in and place. 102: Presentation of the company: who's is Gary and Mary our farms and seed to seal, 103: How to do social marketing cold and warm markets, 104: Training on how to do a presentation for a health fair, 105 and 106 is the new member sets up two meetings with you there. And you do a presentation together. Your member should feel confident by then. Do not lose touch with you members never get too big that you stop communicating with them find ways to stay in touch.
